Yesterday i had the problem that after installing a new bootmenu i had to reflash the device. When it was ready again i realized that my last backup was over one month ago.

My question is if there is a program/script which does a backup once everyday so you don't have to worry about this? Would be really nice

this app would be useful. i sometimes forget to backup and screwed up when got problem and had to install all apps and created files again.
An app that au backup entire system gonna be great.

yeah but this would take too much time. the built in backup feature is okay for me i just don't want to reinstall all my apps manually

I miss NVbackup on PalmOS. It did automated rotating full system backups with encryption.

I created my own automated backup script using Alarmd & some tips from this wiki page & this post. I actually just noticed this wiki page (referenced on the first one I gave) that might have some method to actually trigger the osso-backup application itself. That would be useful. I'll have to take a look for myself .
