Been looking on ebay for a Genuine Nokia BL-5J 1320mah, preferably from a UK supplier by the prices are all over the place.

Anyone bought one on ebay, and if care, care to recommend the seller as dont want to get a non genuine battery?

well i'd avoid mobilebits. ordered a "genuine nokia ca-101 data cable" got a cheap piece of chinese with a ca-101 sticker on the box, didnt even work with the phone!

dealextreme.com has "genuine" BL-5J for us$17 delivered.
They also sell fakes for a quarter that price.

Im asuming the 'fakes' are almost explicitly fake... but the $17 batteries, have you tried one?

i bought the battery and charger from evertop accessories,can't remember the price think it was about 15 pound for both,it is a genuine nokia battery,but you need an old style nokia charger to connect to the battery charger.Also sell fakes but go for genuine.
