Does the Sygic navigation software support full UK postcode search? I find the ovi-maps search really easy. When connected to the net it searches full 6 digit postcodes with ease. But obviously no turn by turn! Some of the addresses I visit for work are really vague, farms in the middle of no where etc!

I can't speak for UK users, but it works perfectly here in germany.

Yep you can set your destination using just the postcode. Of course that means it will take you to the postcode centre and not necessarily the exact location you need.

Yes I understand that, but if it's a full 6 digit and not just the first 3 or 4 like a lot of sat navs then it will be pretty accurate. 6 digit postcode search is a big selling point for sat navs in the UK.

Yes, and it has some nice touches such as the on-screen keyboard changing dynamically to allow only valid characters at each stage of input.

I found that quite flakey personally. For most postcodes I searched it could only look up the first 4 characters. For some it can do more, but it screws up on the 5th and shows results in random places on the other side of the planet like Columbia, Dubai, Canada etc. It recovers on the 6th, but it took me a while to figure that out.

Try searching for "EN8 8LQ‎" (a Nokia Repair Centre of all things) as an example ;-)

Worked fine for me. I am using AGPS with my phone connected to the internet though. I know this makes a difference, but the internet is included in my contract so not reall an issue.

Anyway thanks again for confirming sygic does search how I want it to. Will definately be getting it now.

I have noticed that post code search does not like a space in between the two postcode elements.
