When i press my Q key it will type "qoai". When i press the "w" key "wki" will appear. Some keys work. Few hours later none of the keys work.

Does this in the browser and on the phone so it must be hardware related. Is there a way to take the keyboard off to clean inside it or something? Is this problem fixable or will i need a whole new phone?

Rebooted phone. Different keys seem to be broken now and they are typing a different combination of letters.

Now my phone is deleting words by itself. I type an sms with the virtual keyboard and it keeps deleting letters by itself after ive typed it.

Since it seems a hardware problem, try this - disassembling your N900 (with videos):

Is this a kind of problem that will get fixed under warranty for free or will i have to buy another phone?

Why are you assuming its a hardware problem?

The fact that you've rebooted the phone didn't help doesn't mean anything.

If this is effecting input from the virtual keyboard as well as the physical one, I'd be more tempted to suspect a software issue that would probably be resolved by a re flash.

Is it both keyboards affected?
