I have tried high and low. So how do you do it?

Simply click "TO" and click the recipient you want to send to, it indicates with a "Tick" on the right side

Or typing in the names you can do e.g.

Anne, Bob, Carol, Dave

and the phonebook will be searched for names matching those entries

ah.. so you set tick on each of the receipients.
