I know I have asked this before but has there been any update on getting 802.11x LEAP support on the N8x0?

Hi! I have discovered some things here.. 802.1x is supported by n810. But Cisco has "migration mode". And if this mode is enabled in 802.1x network, so n810 is uncompatible to connect. "Migration mode" means that device can use WEP encryption and WPA encryption together, in one network. gadgets which can do both, cannot understand which one they will use. It seems that the problem inside driver, or, even in firmware of wifi chip.

That just seems strange... maybe autodetection doesn't work, but if you force WEP when you manually create the connection, it should work, no?

I cannot do it under 802.1x
That what you mean is authentication together with encryption. But here 802.1x LEAP is authentication method, and inside there is encryption. It can use wep (rc4) or wpa encryption.

Ah, I see. Interesting. Did you try manually setting the "authentication name" in the advanced settings? That seems to be necessary sometimes to get WPA + 802.1x to work. I am not sure what triggers the requirement to set the authentication name manually.
