So, you're on page 220 of a long thread and you want to go to page 221. On a laptop it would be no problem. Because of the length of the line and the length of the thread, you are out of reach of the normal buttons.

Not so easy!

Here is one method that works. It seems clunky, but is actually pretty fast when you try it out.

1. Remember the number of the page you want to go to.

2. Find a link to the First page. It could be at the top of the page or at the bottom. Click it.

3. Now you will see that there is also a link to the Last page. Click it.

4. Look at the url at the bottom of your device. If you don't see it, you are looking at the whole page. Click the little arrow that lets you see the url at the bottom.

5. Scroll over to the end of the url. You will see that it tells you what page you are on. (Earlier, it just told you the message number.)

6. Change the url to the page you want to go to (you memorized that back at step one, remember?) Hit Enter.

7. Not only have you got to the page you wanted to go to, but to get to additional pages in the thread just modify the url as you did here.

There are other workarounds, but this the easiest I have found.

It's annoying how maemo talk forum is not that browser friendly to the N900's 800 pixels wide screen. (more of a vBulletin layout issue)
