I didn't see these anywhere for the tablet, so I packaged them up. Both are command line apps, and are cross-platform so you can encrypt on the tablet and decrypt on the desktop, and vice-versa. They're straight builds from the Ubuntu source, no changes needed. They're available at:

ccrypt
bcrypt

P.S. They're two different tools, using two different algorithms - ccrypt won't unpack bcrypt-encrypted files and vice-versa!

Links no longer work. Any ideas where we can get a simple but strong encryption package like bcrypt for N900?
(I know about TrueCrypt but would like something simpler where I can encrypt a file, email it to computer non-savvy family member and have her get bcrypt/etc. from the web and decrypt the file.)

Well, the thread is almost three years old and those packages were for the N800.
