Is there a way to view file manger in root on a computer?

This would be extremely helpful for noobs trying to mod the n900. As cool/nerdy as CLI is, it isn't exactly the best way to edit system files.

For instance, transitions can be modded by a simple cut and paste of certain files.

Is there a usb type solution, i.e. faster?

Not that I know of unless there is a URI type of address for USB?
