apt-get update
i got

Code:
W: Conflicting distribution: http://moff.mozilla.com chinook Release (expected chinook but got )

how did you add that repository (or "catalog")?
please post the matching line from the file in
/etc/apt/sources.d/
(forgot the name, something with "hildon").

having a glimps at the link, it looks like you are missing something -- or the information at that page are outdated.

maybe you can simply remove the "catalog" for mozilla using the gui?

if not, then instead of

dir

use

ls -al

and for gedit: there's leafpad, but without working apt you won't be able to install it ...
do

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/filename-found-with-ls

and c&p the matching line.

however, have a look at
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/m/
it should automatically add the right repository, though iirc firefox mobile is already in the maemo repos.

No, I got the output done.

please, post the output of

apt-get update
Code:

dpkg -C
brings no Output

I am wondering, that no one has this problem, because i think all mozilla users have the same Line

Thanks in advance.

you got the following line twice

Code:
deb http://repository.maemo.org/extras/ fremantle free non-free
and you have extras-devel enabled were i have extras-testing.
the mozilla line is the same here.

you should before everything else disable extras-devel and then remove the duplicate line. maybe the error is misleading.
if that doesn't help, fully remove the mozilla catalog and try again.
