I know the shortcut key to go forward one frame on mplayer with the n900 is the "." key.. but is there a way to go back one frame.. i would VERY VERY much love to have this option as it will improve my n900 experience greatly.

Any ideas?

MPlayer doesn't have such a key. Not on N900, not on PC.
