Hi folks,

I have the N810 for 6 months now and with all the apps i have installed its beginning to be a bit sluggish.

I want to make it so it boots from the memory card.

The question I have is will I loose everything I have installed already?

I have read the wiki where it says "clone to the card" does this mean clone everything installed to the card or just the basic operating system?.

Also if you could recommend an easier guide to follow that would be grand!.

Thanks

I don't think there's an easier guide than what's in the wiki. It's a little complicated, but just take it step by step. It's not as bad as it seems. I did it a few months ago. The process looked intimidating, but was surprisingly straightforward.

You shouldn't lose everything you have. It will clone your system exactly as it currently is. Your apps should still work, your files should still be there...

BUT any files that are located on the memory card you are cloning to will likely be lost. This is a result of the partitioning process. I found it easiest to copy everything on the card over to my computer, then copy it back when the process was completed.
