Out of curiosity I've decided to read N900's pdf manual and what I discovered was shocking and sad

Can anyone explain to me what is going on? Did I miss something or Am I blind?

Do we have , geotagging ??

Yes we have. Camera application asks when you first time start it if you want to use geotags. And if you say no, you need to enable them from the menu. It's little bit unintuitive (IMO) to get the menu as you need to get away from full screen mode touching screen and then you need to touch the application banner.

Yep, and it works with videos too.

When you upload your photos to Picasa for example, you see the location of the photos on the map to the right.

That is odd, seeing as its the ONLY option other than "restore settings" not available via the icons in the camera application.

I wonder if PR1.2 will have added more stuff to the camera application was PR1.1 did?

According to the leaked PR 1.2 video there are more resolution settings for camera and night mode

Yeah, but I think it still saves the GPS coordinates with the photo, so if you upload it to, say, Picasa, you will be able to see the location on a map.

By the way, I found that the Picasa sharing plugin doesn't save coordinates for some reason. Pixelpipe, however, does save them when uploading to Picasa. Of course, thanks to the amazing power of Maemo, you can actually go to the Picasa website and upload through there as a last resort!
Edit - I meant you can do it straight from the phone
