Ok, i put a car on sale yesterday for £1900... and got an email like this:
Hi is the item still available? and can i pay by paypal?
i knew its scam, so lets have a laugh just to see how smart he is..

I replied saying yes its still available, and u can pay by paypal

look at this reply..
I thought scammers these days are smart enough. this one looks like some 3rd grade idiot who failed year6 at school....

Dear seller,like i told you before that this transaction is urgent,so pls i will need your assistance.......i hope you understand and am so sorry for any inconveniences that i may cuase you....i have just made the transfer and have completed the payment now from my paypal account which is with the total of £2,250.00 for the Car and for the pick up agent fee which is £300 and please that will be sent via Western Union to the pick up Head Quarters in United Kingdom... You will receive a Payment confirmation mail from my paypal Ok? And follow PayPal's instructions, then you can now go to the Western Union Money Transfer Outlet nearest to you and send the £300 to the pick up agent Head Quarters because i have £300 via Western Union today Ok and have included the £50 that they charge at the western union because i can't send money to them via paypal,they only accept Western Union in there transactions and they are the only one i use for pick up's, Am trusting you in this transaction that was why i made the payment and added the pickup fee and western union charges, so please you will just send the money to them the £300 and get back to paypal with the Western Union Details so they could verify that you have sent the money to my pick up agent and they credit your account immediately Ok?. As soon as my pick up agent gets there funds they will be coming there to get the Car from you Ok?this is my pickup agent's address below

what paypal address he sent it to?
when will i receive? and how much?

its not fair. you showed my letter to everybody. now how will I scam others

Humour apart. but it reminded me of Nigeria scams.

You should tell him that you've sent the money, and go to that address, and beat the sh*t outta him..

please let the story continue by requesting further prove of his reliability, such as there are photos, videos, etc

this is just a stupid scam.. he is not prepared at all lol

The powerbook one is a classic! Really wanted them to see the guy at the end, but nevermind.

Maybe tell him that to pay into Western Union, your Bank needs a £50 fee up front, please send cash via recorded delivery to your workplace or somesuch... lol
