I'm trying to run GPE File Manager but it wont let me move/delete stuff in root folders.. Is there a way to run it as root?

Open terminal, type root, then gpe-filemanager

but be aware that if you need to ask how to run things as root, you should become well familiar with the reflashing threads and unbricking threads before you try...
