I tried the FTP plugin from Ovi Store, and it asked me for a login for something called "pixelpipe," which is not part of configuring an FTP connection so I immediately uninstalled it. Is there a proper, free FTP sharing plugin that doesn't require you to go through some BS 3rd-party service?

Not that I know of. Of course you could just install one of the ftp clients and ftp files that way.

Yeah I use gftp on Easy Debian already but I was specifically looking for a sharing plugin.
