Welp,

I was looking into GPE syncing with erminig. And Once I had it all setup, I cleared my calendar completely, and made a new one.

I opened erminig (both when GPE was running, and when it wasn't) added my google settings, and hit add. I got an error that was rather weird.

"A programming error has been detected during the execution of this program. it probably isn't fatal, but should be reported to the developers nonetheless"

I'm somewhat noobile, and as such do not know how to post my traceback, as my n800 has no copy/paste.

Any help?

the last lines of the error (when you select details) are good hints as to what actually is wrong. For example : a mention of the database being locked is fault of GPE accessing your calendar at the same time as erminig (happens if GPE summary is open)

edit yes, these forums aren't 4chan - not getting a reply within the first few hours is extremely common

Haha! Allow me to apologize for my conduct. I tried to look at the last few lines but all it gives me is weird variables.

Is there no real way to copy and paste?

It's not an error I don't think, it just gives me code back when I hit details.

The last line is "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'value'"

Anything?

Did you have internet active? If not, do that first (by opening a website or so), then try again

is that erminig or erminig-ng?

the former allows sync with GPE, while the latter only with the built-in calendar of Fremantle. There's plan to merge the two functionalities in the future...

If I'm not mistaken, you can save the stack trace when it shows you the dialog, so that you can copy-paste from the text file. (it is entirely possible that the save-stacktrace functionality has never been released....but I remember having it implemented at one time or another)
