Hei Folks
I am not too happy with the handling of passwords on the N900: in the default browser you can activate password recording, but thats it. Then once the phon is on, everyone can log in to your mail or bank account. Actually, maemo should have ONE password manager that requires a masterpassword (much like the KDE kwalletmanager)..

Just wondering how you folks handle this.

I use a Roboform bookmarklet, which in turn is synced to my home computer and laptop.

I use KeePass in spite of its lack of GUI polish. It works.

thanks for the info thus far. All password managers clearly allow to store the usr/login/passwd combination securely behind a master password. But what is ofcourse desired, is an automatic login once the URL has been specified, and this preferably for microB and others.
This is the action performed by microB and Chrome and firefox, but ofcourse each of them has their own 'pot' to store the passwords.

But lets stick with a simple question first: is for instance KeePass intergated with microB?

Thanks in advance.

I've found that remembering log in's and especially passwords is the safest on all fronts be it the N900 or elsewhere.

That's quite impossible for me, I've got around 100 different passwords
I do remember some passwords though, like my GMail password.

KeePass is absolutely not integrated to any browser. It is a completely standalone application. I use KeePass as a memory aid. In every day use general I only have to remember somewhere between 7 or 10 passwords which I can manage most days. When memory fails there is KeePass. I don't store passwords on the browser.
