Not sure exactly what you mean - it's not "necessary" to install any applications from App Manager.
Of those you've listed, pygtkeditor may be useful for normal users, but the others are all either for development only, or will be pulled in automatically if needed by any other applications you install.

In the N900 & under the Application Manager>development, there are the following Appl.:
1)- icedtea6
2)-mad-developer
3)-pygtkeditor
4)-pyQt4 Demo
5)-pyQt4 Full Install.
Is it necessary to download all of the above or it is meant for the developer only?
Appreciate your assistance & Advise.
