I just noticed that after opening file manager it says BCM204880 Initialization Configuration instead of the Nokia N900 as before. I guess some sort of 3rd party application caused this but I have no idea which one. Sorry if this was posted before, I don't consider the search function too functional. Any ideas?

the power search is a lot more functional than standard. its your bluetooth name. go to settings bluetooth and change device name back to n900 (or whatever you like)

no idea what causes this to reset though.

My impression was it's the overclocking kernel.

na the title it changes to is the bluetooth chips model number, as for the reason why it changes back i dont think it due to oc'ing since i never oc'd and had this problem once. glad its a quick and easy fix!

I had the same effect when I using fmradio. it's the way it configures the bluetooth chipset.
