Matter of taste, but right now I would use pygtk, if you do not need to be bleeding edge - also already installed and not subject to the Qt flux/hassle, I guess?
So it's really very simple, I just need a quick advice which language to use and which library to draw shapes.
I prefer python to c, but as far as i know most of python libraries arent ported to meamo (thats mainly why i'm asking you to point me one)
