Hi,

I can't seem to find how to type the symbol "|" in xterm.

The reason I need it so to check how much space I have in rootfs as recommended here:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Troubleshooting

Talk about moving from problem to problem lol.

Function key (tilted blue arrow) + Sym

Press the blue arrow above the shift key, then the key above it with Sym and Ctrl on it. This will bring up an OSK with symbols on it.

Enjoy.....

EDIT: Beaten to the punch lol..... Nice one.....

Pressing Func+Ctrl opens special characters map. You might need to have virtual keyboard enables, don't remember.

edit: Really really slow...

You can simply use
Code:
df -h
and use your eyeballs to scan for the line beginning with rootfs

or simply "df -h /"

or download conky from the app manager....
