Guys since i got my n900 about 3 weeks ago I have not been able to use apps manager correctly at all.

My first problem was trying to install angry birds from ovi store and every time i would try it would stop midway with the blue progress bar half full.

Since then it always fails to totally update itself and i just get left with a half blue line and no updates or installs.

Have just flashed to new firmware but the problem is still there.

Any help would be great

Hi, i also get this problem.
It happens to me over a wifi connection most of the time.
So when i want to download something i switch to the t-mobile 3.5g connection......i still get the problem on network but it rarely happens

No idea why this happens in the first place....

I had this problem when restoring my apps after the Firmware Update.

I was streaming music from the web at the same time as restoring my apps, as I walked away from the wireless access point the streaming music stopped and the app being installed at the time stopped half way through. I gave it 10 mins with no change; so I cancelled the install; moved nearer the access point and tried again - all was OK.

So check:
How near to your access point you are.
Are there other access points in your area on the same channel.
Does you access point have any problems with it's radio.

Hope this helps
