Local emulator fails with the following error message

Device configuration test failed:
Could not connect to host
Did you start Qemu?

I've installed Qemu, latest QtCreator and MADDE

You installed qemu from where? Which image your qemu is running?

None. I have no N900 device and no qemu image is available for me

You have to wait a while. After PR1.2 is released we will release new
MADDE with an emulator.

If you like to try N900 emulator look at

... And what is best, when having default target 'fremantle-pr12'
mad remote does not need the '-r' flag to point to
rx51-fremantle-pr12 qemu runtime.
