i've been trying to update my device to the new software but its too complicated seems its not able to update from the device itself. please help

Simply click on App Manager and click Update button and if there is an update then it will show up in there.
One important thing to do before that is to make sure you are connected to the internet. Also disable Extra-Testing and Extra-Devel. This will eleminate the possible space issue. But do check your rootf space as well. Making sure that the Rootf is over 48MB free for guarantee update sucessfully.
Xterminal: type
df -h
This will show Roots space.

so i can update it directly from my device? it says that i should connect to my usb cable. the nokia software updater on my computer dsent work
