Hi,

Since the PR 1.2 upgrade (which appeared to work fine with no errors reported) vnc on my device no longer wants to connect to my pc. what's even more perculiar about this is that i'm not able to run to my router's ip address via the phone either, however, connecting to wireless, accessing the internet and conversations et al work absolutely fine.

i uninstalled real vnc that was on my pc and reinstalled it again thinking it was that. my laptop can vnc into my pc so i tried my phone again. since the reinstall my n900 now won't even talk to my pc! i've not changed any settings and made sure it all the ports were all correct.

i have one more thing to try but i'm now struggling to understand what has caused vnc to stop working.

Has anyone else noticed a problem with VNC on their device? if you got yours up and running, can you share how?

Any positive advice will be gratefully appreciated

ok figured out why i can't connect to my pc (i had the setting switched to always on instead of prefer on), however when i get to the logon, it just isn't accepting the password despite it being right. read some previous vnc threads that sometimes the first letter is in caps so tried that but that didn't work too. any ideas please??

well i've figured my problem out myself. if you have auto-capitalisation on within text input, it messes with your password you enter on your screen. disable it and you're up and running again. thanks for all responses... :|
