Hi,

it seems to be related to this thread. Even though it should have been fixed in the latest version, it still occurs. Looks like a bug within MADDE.

You can't use Qt Creator with MADDE for debugging, because it is broken.

Perhaps it will work once the SDK reaches non-beta status.

Remote debugging (i.e. using gdb/gdbserver combination) is currently problematic due to new gdb features (if sysroot/device libraries are different). Qt Creator developers are working to figure
out some solution). No-one wants to go back to gdb 6.6.50...

Hi,

when we were referring to having this fixed, it basically meant that it will be resolved with the next public update to the madde component.

So you have to be a little bit more patient unfortunately.

Damn! I was hoping this wouldnt be a bug and just something i was doing wrong as ive been waiting a whole month for a proper Qt4.6 dev environment. I hope this doesnt take long to fix...

Still, it is Qt.
Meaning: you can compile and debug on your desktop.

I usually debug new features or segfaults on my desktop OS, then if it's stable, I add the Maemo 5-specific stuff in #ifdef's and test on the device.
If something is not OK, I can still debug on my desktop machine.
