I've tried to install rygel by following the instructions posted here:
http://live.gnome.org/Rygel/N900
The application wasn't installed and something happened to my application manager.
whenever I open it, it says operation failed. I can see the application catalogs + few catalogs that belongs to rygel.
Whenever I click them it says unable to edit. How do i remove them and how do i get my app manager to work again.

Do you have rootsh installed? If so, can you post the output from running (in X Terminal):
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get update

the updating process completes but it says that some updates couldn't be found and has been ignored.
and apt-get install rygel just says cannot find rygel...

I've fixed the application manager. the problem was that in the instructions, they didn't tell me how to end the cat file. I searched it and found that after cat > file.txt i should press ctrl+d to save and end the file. i did that and the application manager worked. i tried to creat a cataloge for fatal manually but it couldn't refresh for some reason.
