Ok so there are a lot of ideas out there for alarm clocks that MAKE you get up.
Would it be possible to change the accelerator funciton from just turning it over to stop the alarm to shaking it instead? I'm not talking about anything too vigorous that could damage components, but enough to have to put some effort into it.
Providing the user a changeable shaking time could also be an advantage.
Would be very interested to hear your thoughts.

I find that the most efficient alarm clock is an alarm clock that's loud, but that's also too far away to manipulate without getting up from bed. This is the only foolproof method of getting you up when it rings.
In short: place your phone farther away from your bed.
