Hi, I think the earpiece on my phone is dying. I was fine when I gt the phone but now I almost always have to resort to plugging earphones to be able to hear what people are saying when they are calling me. Even at full volume it is about a quarter as audible as my iphone, my blackjack or my nokia 2330 were... So I think the earpiece has to be replaced.

My problem is that I bought the phone second hand from the forum, and I don't have the original receipt for it. Can I still send it to Nokia?

You should be able to - AFAIK Nokia can track warranty by IMEI.

You don't need send it to nokia, just take your nokia to level 1 nokia garage (if you have one there). They can check when you n900 has left from factory. And if they don't have any queue, im sure they can fix it in same day
