hiya.

this is probably quite a simple question to answer but i couldn't find anyway of doing what i wanted to do, if there is a way of doing it at all. when you customise your desktop and move things to where you want them. is there anyway of lining them up or making sure they are all equally space? or do you have to do it manually? sorry for what seems like a stupid question.

Install Tweakr, it'll allow you to activate a "snap to grid" feature.

Try desktop activity manager. It will allow you to save multiple desktop layouts.

I have found that when I add my accidently deleted icons and widgets back onto my desktop, they sometimes appear in the same place(!).
