Hi everyone.

First of all sorry if this should go somewhere else. I couldnt work out where to put it lol.

Wow what a wonderful community of people you all are!! I was a bit hesitant with my N900 until I found all you wizz kids who have made my nokia experience that little bit better.

I am hoping someone can help write a app that fixes an issue I have. I run a business and over night I may receive many text messages from each employee. In the morning I click on the new message from an employee but all messages in that convo box then show open. Its very frustrating to find where I left off last which can also lead to incorrect invoicing and pay errors.

What I am chasing and hopefully one of you can fix for me is the following to happen.

1. A new message showing from Joe.
2. I click on it which takes me to Joe's full convo and any fully (havent been clicked on) unread texts should remain red (unread). These are baically the NEW ones.
3. Then I want to click into that particular message which then shows it as read/opened.
4. It would also be helpful to be able to set the message back to unread incase I want to prompt myself to recheck it agin later.
5. and for others who would rather not have this function a 'show all messages as read' option would also be helpful.

The converstaion system as it stands is fine for the most part. Its just For some strange reason its just missing the last bit. Messages should not show as read until you actually go right into them and read/open them.

At the moment I am using the awesome app glogarchive to sort of work around this issue but would really need the above app to be created as to run my business as I have in the past.

Thank you in advance and really hope someone can help or atleast point me in the right direction to finding someone to sort this for me.

Glen.

I think a good way, is that you click on the show-desktop button and just take a look at the message from there. Then, click on that button which closes that conversation window from there.

This way you have read the message, and also, next time you look in your conversations, it's not marked as read.

Hope that helps, would you want me to provide you with some screenshots?

No problem...

But I think Maemo is better anyway, just my suggestion...

You can stick with it, and there might be some things you can do... If I get any additional info, I'll PM you and also post it here.
