Love the names Aava gives to their phones.


aava = Open

virta = Stream, current or (electrical) power.

Aava Virta = Open Stream/Power.

Sounds lovely in finnish plus nice wordplay on open source.

Pretty much. The Zoom2 is up in the $1200 range, I know the PXA270 kits were several thousand.

However for ARM platforms we have cheap kits like the Beagleboard, though for MeeGo it'll need a capacitive input addon. Technically any ATOM netbook could serve, but none have capacitive screens and I don't know of any that have 3G cellular.
