Hey,

Is there no option on the N900 to tell it to auto answer an incoming call after a couple of rings ?

Any ideas, completely removes the safeness of use a headset in the car if you have to take the phone out of your pocket to answer it.

Cheers

Colm

Can't you answer the call by pressing the call button on your headset? Works for me

I don't know of such a way. I can live wth absence of voice dialing, but omission of auto answer is real bad.
You can answer using BT headset button instead of taking phone out of your pocket.

Sorry perhaps I have misled you on this.

The phone is connected to my bluetooth headset, when it rings it does not auto answer, i have to press answer on the phone.

On my previous Nokia handsets there was an option to tell the phone to auto answer after 2 rings when connect to BT headset but i cant find this option in N900.

@zlatko and @kureyon I have never tried that but make sense, i will try that indeed. cheers.

Maybe you have to change headset, i also can respond pressing the button on the headset itself. Never had one that can't permit to do this
