Well ofcourse there's a major difference between lights on/off, but is the difference really so big when we're talking about min. vs. max. brightness, especially when idling?
'Cause if i watch movies for approx. four hours straight, and the display is, ofcourse, on all that time, and in four hours, the difference between min. and max. brighness is only ~15min. is it really worth it to suffer with the lowest possible brightness level, when you can use the brightest one and lose just 15mins in four hours (with would theoretically mean that if you keep the display on for 24 hours, you would lose 1,5 hours on maximum brightness).

hmmm....1st of all it wont charge to 100%.i think 97% is the highest reported full charge.
my battery drained only 20% when i watched a film for 1:30hrs...
So i hope i will have atleast 50% left after 4hrs.But i havent tested it though.
My brighnness level was 3 with full volume(headphones)
Did u watch it with speakers or headphones?

Well, yeah, I guess that's true :P
What player do you use for watching videos? I use MPlayer + KMPlayer.
I watch my movies with the build-in speakers, and the volume is always at maximum.. But I doubt that it makes that much of a difference(?)
Anyone else wanna submit some results for comparison?

Just wanted to ask you guys, how long does your battery last in video playback? Mine takes about four hours to go from 100% to 0%.
And I also tested, how much does the display brightness affect batterylife in this case; I tested video playback with minimum and maximum brightness, and the difference was about 15mins, and that ain't much, 'cause I thought that the brightness level is a major factor in batterylife, but I guess I was wrong..
And what about you guys?
