OK, so I was listening to some music on my 770, using some cheap ear bud headphones I have. They're metal on the speaker part. I take off my coat, which has a fleece inside, and moments later I get a static shock in my ear. Yea, it kinda hurt
Anyways, that got me wondering, should I be careful with static electricity around my 770? For some reason I've been getting a ton of charge buildup this winter, probably a combination of my dorm room, the weather, and what clothes/sheets/rugs I use.
My 770 doesn't seem to have suffered from my in-ear discharge to the headphones, but I'm wondering if a big shock could affect the 770, or is it shielded against that?
