Do you have the outgoing server set up to authenticate you? GMail uses an authenticating SMTP server for outgoing mail.

Suggest following online tutorial on Tableteer - it resolved all my problems!
I've setup my e-mail configuration with Gmail per the instructions and can receive e-mail with no problems but I can't respond or send any. Any feedback on what the issue might be? I'm using SSL authentication and the correct port # per the directions.
