N900 was released in 2009, iPhone 4 in 2010. You should expect different capabilities.
If you want 720p video, wait for N8.

I don't really care, the N900's camera is great, so is the iPhone's (although I've heard it overdoes the post processing). I find it surprising that you aren't angry at all the other phones that have far superior cameras to both the N900 and the iPhone, why should we compare it to the iPhone exclusively? It's a feature phone, for god sakes.

here i comparing to the spec of camera bundle with the device. 5Mpx camera on both. So it's more fair to compare with something similar. I just wish Nokia fix the camera problem on N900 though, the software rendering is not good and causing frame dropped. Also for f* sake! Why on earth that there is no Pause when taking video. It's pissed me off most of the time when i'm taking short clip of each scense and the i have to restart a new clip every time i want to do a pause. So i end up with millions of small clips. This got to be fixed!
I know that our N900 can achieve the HD resolution too, but due to Nokia decision not to add it in because of some memory issues. But if there is a way to boosting to 720p recording at 30fps then it's going to a godsend.
Both 5mpx but i've heard that the lense sensor on the iphone is the size of a digital camera. Can anyone here confirm?
Iphone can play HD o.o N900 can't!!! by default!
Bring me the Linux power.
