This is my first post, I just got the N900 great phone slightly disappointed and stoke about the software. The problems I have faced so far: The camera wouldnt take photos, cause was corrupt files on the phone - no idea of how that happened. And the main problem I am stuck on is - when I run app manager I am able to download the catalogs etc but when i download the file it gets to "downloading 7.3mb" for example. But it doesnt do anything then this error comes up download failed. Here is what the log says:

And the web works perfectly, and if i use 3G the app mangers downloads. So it looks like its a wifi problem. Oh and another thing is when i run hermes i get "network connection error check connection". But the connection works for web. I called nokia and they couldnt help as usual, and talked to me like im a dumbass and they came to a conclusion I have to bring it in. So to save me the trouble i thought maybe you guys may have the solution?

I had the same problem with my app manager. It worked with 3g but not with my home wifi (eircom). I searched for hours for a solution and only ever found one person on these forums with the same problem.

I recently moved into my own gaff and got Vodafone home broadband and it works fine with it. So basically i have no idea what the problem was.

Sorry i could not be of more help. Maybe try a friends wifi and see if it works with theirs.
