To make things short:

1. n900, was running titan's kernel-power v40 fine.

2. Installed Nitdroid from extras-devel (turns out to be fubar file, can't make ext3 partition, had to de-install it)

3. Deinstalled it, went back to stock N900 kernel

4. Tried to apply the v40 power kernel. (Installed RootSH,

$sudo gainroot
apt-get install kernel-power-flash kernel-power-modules
etc etc reboot

after reboot,
$uname -r
returns:
2.6.28.10power40

now the problem:
/home/user # kernel-config show
returns:
/bin/sh: kernel-config: not found

and indeed under:
/usr/sbin/ I can't see anything apart from "kernel-power-deinstall"

I've tried installing, reinstalling etc. for hours now and still end up with this line "/bin/sh: kernel-config: not found"

I've removed Maemo multiboot, Nitdroid and everything related...

If you are after the kernel-config command, you need to install the package Kernel Power Settings. Type the following into x-term:

sudo gainroot
apt-get install kernel-power-settings

That should sort it out
