Hello everyone, I'm new in here and i'm starting to create applications for maemo.

I'd like to know if it's possible to make a web authentication and mantain it open as long as the aplication is open.

That depends on the server. If it is anything like persistent cookies, then it should be possible to save the authentication token as long as your app wants. If it is session based - like an https session, then your app is usually expected to either keep alive or re-authenticate after time out.
