Thanks for the wishful words, cpate99! I got off the phone with a Nokia technical representative and he gave me a free shipping label. Hopefully they don't butter me up with the "don't worry, we will take care of your device", free shipping and finally end up charging me half the price of the device :P

My question here is have anyone else here went through the Nokia warranty process and was the charger port covered or did you have to pay for the repair? If you had to pay, how much? I'm wondering how likely it will be that I have to pay for the repairs. When it comes to electronics, some people are forced to pay while some are luckily covered by the warranty. I also want to kind of poll how many people got this done for free and how many people had to pay.
