Hi I have a bit of a problem, yesterday I had a problem with the default notes app so I uninstalled it, but it took with it 'mp-fremantle-generic-pr'.
I reinstalled osso-notes but it didnt re install mp-fremantle-generic-pr.
I tried to reinstall it with apt-get and apt-get -f but it's throwing an error and I'm not sure how to define version numbers using apt-get.

This is what apt-get gives me

mp-fremantle-generic isn't an issue... I always remove that package whenever I reflash... Anyways all it does is just secures your device that it has the proper installed app/libraries for maemo. Nothing else

It get's removed whenever you remove something default on n900.

Ok well in that case I have an even bigger problem.

My volume keys dont control volume any more and nothing makes a noise anymore and I don't know why.

Help!

Other than fremantle-generic what else did you install/uninstall? or at least modified on your system files?

I'm in amsterdam but data is £3 per mb so my searching capability is limited as I am not a millionair...yet!
