recently my bat ran out real fast. i did top in xterm and saw this process running at 80-100% all the time. anyone know what it is?
avahi-daemon: running [Nokia-N900.loc]

avahi is the zeroconf daemon, I believe. It is related to obtaining your IP address. Seems like something must have gone wrong... it should never use CPU like that.

what the point of reading general information when you dont know how to fix it on the n900? the whole point of me asking is to see if anyone have this problem before and know how to fix it pretending to the N900 itself.

no i have never install that apps. also i just found out that this only happen when am on wifi. i can connect to 3g and that process dont come up, i get my 3-5%cpu usage on idle. the moment i connect to wifi, boom that process come up and i get 80-100%cpu usage all the time.
