Sounds like your GPRS provider may be blocking AH and/or ESP (not unusual, most telcos today still think the Internet is UDP, TCP and, if you're really lucky, ICMP).

Hi , thanks for your reply, I asked the gprs provider and they told me that there should be no problem in using vpn . any other suggestion?
I have vpnc.0.5.1 installed on my N900.
using DSL connection i can use vpn normally.
when i am connected to my gprs connection , vpnc is connected successfuly but i am unable to ping any IP
please adive.
