Hello

all of my family expat my mom work with VIM, and i think now is my turn to start work with vim.

now i work with zim wiki, it's one of the best program i ever use, and work great with Hebrew. it work on my n900, my linux and the windows.
but my problem is that i can't protect it with password.

Now i wont to write a dairy on my n900. The VIM is good idea BUT when i did tried to config the VIM to work right to left it didn't work (:set rl or :set invrl).

there is addon that i can install, or anther config that i can do to make it work.

thanks for your help

Hmm. It's been a very long time since I last looked at the features of vim on my N900. The ":version" command says that the package I'm running is vim 7.2, was compiled in January 2010, and did not include the "rightleft" feature when it was built. I'm pretty sure it would need to be recompiled to add that feature in. (I'm guessing you're probably using the same vim as I am.)

It's been even longer since the last time I rebuilt vim for myself. It isn't necessarily all that hard to do, but I don't know exactly how much you'd need to do to get a fresh copy onto your N900. (I suppose I should take a look for myself. )

BTW, vim also offers an option to encrypt your documents (using the ":X" command). I've never used it myself, but you might try it if you want some extra protection.
