I did a powersearch and found a +2 year old thread with the same request for N900. I was thinking about making the bump of the year, but I figured it is better this way (so that I can add [Request] in thread title).
Even though the N9, in my presonal experience, has above average batterylife it is still something I have to be concerned with. One of the features I use regularly but drinks alot of juice is IM's, namely Facebook and Skype. It's really convenient to be available on Skype during the day and my friends can call me via Skype instead of having to make a paid call. Facebook chat is also nice to have on during the evening and maybe even sometimes during the workday.
The problem is, I am to lazy to turn these IM accounts off when I don't need them! That's where the scheduler comes in. Think of it as the push MfE peak intervalls. I think this could possibly save alot of mAh's and my friends wont be able to drunk-IM me on Facebook if I forget to turn the accounts off before I go to sleep!
