any suggestions ?
I have a major problem with my nokia n900. When I was chargeing the phone with a car charger it came to a shortcut (not an original nokia charger) and the phone died. But not entirely. I am able to switch the phone on, I get the nokia logo and then it switches off. But luckily i have NITdroid installed. I WAS able to boot into nitdroid and was able to see that the phone is working normaly (wifi, recieving calls (no mic/speakers, hdd on n900), etc) I was very happy about that. But because of lack of time, I didn t save my stuff to the sd card that day. All I did was take my battery out of the phone for the night, because I didn t wanted to empty the battery.
The next day I put the battery back into my phone, switch it on and boot into nitdroid to save my things. But the luck was apparently not on my side. After I booted into nitdroid the battery was empty. OK. I was able to fully charge the battery with my N95 (The battery doesn t fit fully into the phone, but you can charge it and use the phone also, but you need some duct tape ... HEHE)
But the battery was not the problem .... the problem has something to do with nitdroid ... BUG
see -> http://code.google.com/p/nitdroid-v2...s/detail?id=21
wanted to get some help from NITdroid forum, but can t register.
The micro usb on my phone doesn t work !
For now the first thing is somehow to access the n900 hdd to save my stuff. lots of UN/passes for difrent things, and very important stuff from my job, backups, ....
... so a send to repar is not an option for now ...
Is it possible to repair the battery issue without using maemo ... or will it work if I reinstall nitdroid on a sd card using a different n900 phone ... and then I put the sd card into my n900.
i am using NITdroid 2.6.28.NIT.06
please, I realy need some good advice
THX !!!
