As far as I noticed, my cameras stopped working after I upgraded ogg-support to 1.1. I then lost support for tracking all media and noticed a little later that the camera does not work. I managed to get support for tracking media by removing ogg-support. It sucks cause I encode my audio in ogg usually .
So tracking down the camera trouble, I realized I have no files named /dev/video{0,1} ??
I played a bit with ogg-support, installing different version, auto-removing packages after deinstalling ogg-support, reinstalling, dinstalling again ...
Not sure what to look for in dmesg, but I don't see much related to cameras in there. What/where should I look for ?
Any idea what went wrong ?
An incident happened a few months before the camera stopped working, I drop my phone and had to change the screen. but the connector between the touch module and the screen was a bit tight and I had a hard time plugging in the touch module. The touch module connector is not in a really good shape, but everything was working fine for at least 5 months and I don't think it's related, but just so you know.
