This thing sells for around 150-200 dollars. It is a 5 inch form factor which is great for portability while still managing to have good amount of screen space.
Specs are mostly the usual China stuff
Screen: 5inch 800x480 resistive touchscreen
Ram: 256mb
Storage: 2gb of rom plus microsd expansion
Connectivity: 802.11b/g/n, HDMI, USB OTG, 3g through external adapter
Processor: 800mhz ARM11
Battery: 3 hours on 3g, 5 hours wifi, 72 hours standby
Operating System: Android 2.1 with custom UI
The thing isn't too bad it offers USB host, mostly up to date Android version, A great screen, and hdmi. For a generic Chinese product this is as good as it gets. Also it can do 1080p vidoe playback. It looks very similar to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IstXabVa6J0
Edit: This is the thing Charbax showed off in the video and also it has a gsensor and can do high profile 1080p video playback. I seriously considering buying one of these things.

I like the inclusion of a dpad. Unlike the Archos device the battery is removable.

Oh well no one responded this thing is such a hidden gem and under-appreciated device.

It surely looks great.. But what does it do that my N900 & N8 can't? I mean USB OTG is a great idea, but i can't find myself using it (didnt use it once on my N8)...

Well it has a much larger screen 5inch vs 3.5inch no comparison there. It can do USB host without an external cable, the n8 requires an external cable and the n900 can't do USB host at all. It does 1080p video playback vs 854x480 n900 or n8 1280x720. The thing is much cheaper 100-200 dollars compared 400-600 dollars for the n8 or n900. Its more comparable to n800/n810 than the n900 or n8. I personally really like the form factor.

it really does 1080p playback on a 800x480 screen? impressive!

but seriously, these chinese phones look a real bargain but you just know that its made with the cheapest parts going, amongst other things, up until now my biggest issue was the crappy software they put in them, now they're using android i'd like to try one out and see if they can change my mind though.

edit: i watched the video and the 1080p playback is only for video through the hdmi cable, and i think usb host was only on the larger ones? still looks nice for the price though. is that definately a resistive screen though? so no multitouch on android?

These Chinese devices are very good option for those looking for a good value for the money, but the Arm11 processors aren't the greatest in the world and these devices generally have buggy firmwares.

Yah I can't wait till some 4.3 inch or 4.8 inch Arm Cortex A9 MIDS that are reasonably priced EG: 200-350 dollars and have the latest version of Android, till then I will stick with the Archos 5 still a great solution even in 2011
